The Zambia Climate Change Network (ZCCN), in collaboration with its member FDI, organizes the Pre – COP meetings to enhance cooperation between Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and the government ahead of the International Convention on Climate Change . These efforts aimed to ensure meaningful civil society participation in UNFCCC discussions, reflecting on ZCCN’s commitment to impact climate change engagement.The meeting still aimed to create an inclusive platform for non-state actors to engage with the government on the National Position and collaboratively develop a CSO Position for COP29, emphasizing gender and the needs of the most vulnerable.
