Community Led Project – Malaria

FDI with support from DAPP and CHAZ on a Global fund  supported project is implementing a Community Led Monitoring Project on malaria in 9 district of Lusaka ( Lwangwa, Rufunsa and Lusaka) and Southern province (Chirundu, Chikankata, Mazabuka, Monze, Kalomo and Kazungula) . The Goal of the project is to reduce malaria incidence and mortality rates, improve health outcomes, and foster a sense of ownership and trust in malaria prevention efforts within the communities.

Specific Objectives:

  1. Collect, analyse, and utilise local malaria data to inform and improve malaria services.
  2. Strengthen local structures in monitoring and overseeing CLM services.
  3. Utilise CLM data to advocate for and develop policies supporting sustainable malaria prevention and control
